| BLAKE RESIDENCE This back yard space was transformed from a slightly overgrown play area, to a private getaway with a perfectly sized pool as the focal point. We worked on most aspects of the landscape and captured the potential of the backyard pool area. Our pattern bluestone patio was designed to wrap around the pool on three sides and function for sitting/sunbathing, traffic patterns, storage of pool mechanicals, and longevity. We even made a custom skimmer cover to match the patio. The pool was edged with a special coping, and the retractable pool cover was hidden with large slabs of bluestone. Our plantings create a sense of privacy and provide color, texture and beauty. |
One of the main design elements was the dual waterfall cascading into the pool. This adds a great soothing sound to the area, and makes for a fun spot to swim to. The lighting adds a beautiful finishing touch and creates an evening paradise too. |
